The following are the four basic steps to forming an LLC. Choosing a business name simply requires you to find a business that is not already in use and business names are normally governed by your states Secretary of State office. By going to their website, you may be able to do a quick search of their database to see if the name you have chosen is unavailable. There may also be rules regarding what particular words can be included within the businesses name.
Once you have chosen a name and verified that it is available, you are ready to move onto the next step in how to form an LLC. This form is not difficult to complete as it just requires basically your business information, such as the LLC name, location of the business, the type of business you will be conducting and the names of the members of your LLC. The operating agreement is there to put in writing the responsibilities and rights of each member within the LLC. If it does need to be done then it is simply a matter of publishing a notice within a newspaper that announces the name of your business and your intent to create an LLC.
